Established in 2021, KMK Accounting was founded by Kensa Knuckey with the intention of helping individuals and businesses alike with their accounting needs, from basic bookkeeping and tax returns, through to preparing annual financial statements.

Kensa graduated from the University of Bristol in 2016, having read Accounting and Finance, and subsequently worked at a Top 4 accountancy firm whilst completing her ACA qualification. Here, she specialised in audit, working with a range of different clients from small, local businesses, to large, internationally listed companies.

Once fully qualified, Kensa relocated to the Cayman Islands to continue with the same firm in Audit. The Cayman Islands is a major international financial centre, therefore has provided Kensa with knowledge over a broad range of clients in multiple jurisdictions.

Alongside her full-time job in the Cayman Islands, Kensa opened an online plastic-free, eco-friendly shop, providing the residents of Cayman with plastic-free alternatives to items used in day-to-day living. Setting up and running a business has allowed Kensa to view businesses from the ownership perspective, which allows KMK Accounting to better relate to your business' needs.

 

Kensa relocated back to her home county Cornwall in early 2022 with her family and looks forward to growing her client base locally in Cornwall,  further afield in the UK, as well as internationally.
